Our story

Carve started with a simple belief: top executive assistants are routinely undervalued, underestimated and underinvested in.

The result is a profession that struggles to hold onto great people – some move on, and those who stay are rarely given the support or recognition to flourish.

Our founder Fiona Young, a former EA herself, set out to change that.

In 2023 she founded Carve with the conviction that AI wouldn’t replace executive assistants – instead it would redefine the role, and the EAs who learned to use it well would become more valuable than ever.

Since then, Carve has trained thousands of executive assistants, from individuals in our open cohorts to whole teams at companies like Google, eBay, Skyscanner and McKesson. It’s become the go-to name in AI training for the EA profession globally.

Our mission is the same as it was on day one: to help assistants lead with AI and carve out their own career progression.

And we’re just getting started.
